What: Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is money given to you, from the government. It is used to help you complete your higher education studies, if you have a recognised disability. This allowance is given to you to help cover the costs of extra equipment or resources which you require, in order to level the playing field. It is not a loan and generally, you do not have to pay it back.
How Can We Help?: All of our assessors hold an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). This means that where a full diagnostic report is carried out, concluding that the results indicate a specific learning difficulty, they can be used to provide evidence of your eligibility for DSA.
