As a qualified teacher who has spent many years in the classroom, I know just how challenging it can be to meet the needs of every individual under your care. Some students need specialist, focused interventions and support which are almost impossible to provide in a standard classroom.
With ten years of experience teaching students with specific learning difficulties, I offer 1:1 or small group interventions focusing on reading, spelling and writing within the school environment. These can be booked by schools as half-day or full day sessions or as a series of weekly sessions in order to best suit the needs of the students and the school.
All packages are tailored to incorporate the specific needs of students but will also include the general skills and concepts needed at each stage of learning. I focus on a variety of key strategies to enable students to progress in their learning and build their literacy skills. Sessions are multi-sensory and focus on principles supported by the British Dyslexia Association, PATOSS and SASC.
